Advetec becomes SWANA accredited

Although we are passionate about helping our customers advance their green credentials, we also make sure to prioritize our own development as a sustainable business by securing the relevant accreditation whenever possible.

This is why we are delighted to announce that we have recently become a member of SWANA (Solid Waste Association of America) – an organization of more than 10,000 public and private sector professionals committed to environmental advancements from solid waste management to resource processes through their shared emphasis on education, advocacy, and research.

As the largest member-based solid waste association in the world, this new partnership provides us with invaluable networking and professional development opportunities — including access to exclusive training and certification programs and industry events, as well as helpful resources, initiatives, and news.

Having been the leading association in the solid waste management field for more than 60 years, SWANA serves a range of industry professionals across North America — so we are extremely excited that the Advetec team is now part of this vibrant community.

In addition to being another step in the right direction for our business’s continued growth, this membership is also an important tool that gives us credibility as a trusted and expert business within the industry. We are also proud members of other professional associations, including CIWM, iBioIC, and RMAS — all certifications which help us be involved in changing the way non recyclable waste is perceived, to shift the mindsets and actions of waste handlers and facility managers.
