Driving Innovation through Biotechnology

Innovation has the power to transform the way the world manages waste.

At Advetec, we develop advanced biotechnology that helps organisations process difficult waste more efficiently, reduce disposal costs and recover greater value from every tonne. By stabilising non-recyclable waste streams, we enable further resource recovery and support the transition towards a more circular economy.

Advetec

Why we exist

To redefine the concept of waste for a sustainable world, creating better outcomes from difficult waste

We believe waste should never be viewed as the end of the process. Through innovation, science and collaboration, we’re helping businesses rethink what’s possible; reducing reliance on landfill and low-value disposal while unlocking new opportunities to recover resources.

Our purpose is simple: to deliver practical biotechnology solutions that benefit our customers, their communities and the environment.

Advetec - Reducing The Cost of Waste Dispoal

Our strategy is clear. We won’t stop until Advetec is the go-to technology for waste that would otherwise go to landfill or low-level incineration.

Advetec - Reducing The Cost of Waste Dispoal

Moving towards a circular economy

The future of waste management is one where more materials remain in use for longer.

Advetec’s biotechnology stabilises biodegradable material within difficult waste streams, creating a dry, consistent output that can be further processed through recycling, resource recovery or alternative fuel applications where appropriate.

By helping recover more value from materials that would otherwise be lost, we enable our customers to move closer to a circular approach to waste management.

Unlocking the value in difficult waste

Some of the most challenging waste streams still contain significant value.

Our biotechnology creates new opportunities for downstream recovery, enabling suitable materials to be used in processes such as chemical extraction, gasification, further recycling and the production of solid recovered fuel.

The result is less waste sent to landfill or low-level incineration, lower carbon emissions and better commercial outcomes for our customers.

Driven by our mission

To lead a global shift from waste disposal to resource recovery using biotechnology

Every solution we develop is designed to help our customers recover more value, reduce environmental impact and stay ahead of changing operational and legislative demands.
